Reporting Content

Last updated: September 20, 2026

If content made with XMAKU infringes your rights, depicts you without your consent, or involves a minor, tell us and we will look into it. You do not need an XMAKU account to report something.

1. Urgent reports

Use this for anything involving a minor, intimate content of a real person shared without their consent, sexual impersonation or a deepfake, or an imminent risk of harm to someone. These are treated ahead of everything else.

Email support@xmaku.com — urgent report

The link fills in a subject line that marks the message urgent. If you write to us directly instead, please start the subject with URGENT content report so it is not read as an ordinary support request.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are a small team and cannot act as fast as they can.

2. Everything else

Copyright, trademark, use of your name or likeness, privacy, or anything else you believe breaks our Terms of Use.

3. What to include

We can only act on what we can identify. The more of this you can give us, the faster it goes:

  • Anything that identifies the content — a copy of it, where you saw it, or a link if you have one. Content made here is private to the person who made it, so there is often no public link to point at; describe it as best you can.
  • What is wrong with it, in your own words.
  • Which right you believe is affected, and your connection to it — for example that it is your face, your work, or your child.
  • How to reach you, so we can ask follow-up questions and tell you the outcome.

Please do not attach sexual content involving a minor to your message. Describe it instead — where you saw it and what it shows — and we will take it from there.

4. What happens next

We acknowledge reports within two business days — Sunday to Thursday, Israel time, excluding Israeli public holidays — and urgent reports sooner where we can. We may come back to you for more detail before we can act.

While we are looking into a report, we may remove or restrict access to the content concerned. We will tell you what we decided.

Reports in the urgent categories above are also handled in accordance with applicable law, which can include preserving information or notifying the authorities.

5. Reporting in bad faith

Reporting content you have no connection to, or making claims you know to be untrue, wastes the time this channel exists to spend on real harm. We may decline to act on reports from anyone who does it repeatedly.
